Have you checked out Thrive Market? Here, online, you can find organic whole foods, whole food supplements, and superfoods— at wholesale. That means you pay 25-50% off normal retail prices. Thrive delivers straight to your door.
Use Thrive’s search bar to screen for your values— there are something like 60! These include organic, gluten-free, raw, vegan and vegetarian. And more.
At home I pulled out the vegan organic food supplements I take, including herbs and superfoods. Here are the ones I found by registering at Thrive Market.
- Spectrum Essentials: Unrefined Coconut Oil, Flax Seeds, and Chia Seeds. Thrive also carries Spectrum DHA, Mayonnaise, Grapeseed Oil, and more.
- Nutiva: Coconut Oil, Chia Seeds, and Hemp Seeds. You’ll also find Nutiva Hazelnut Spread, Red Palm Oil, Protein Shake, and more.
- Garden of Life (GOL) supplements: Multiples, Raw Calcium (algae-based), Vegan D3 Organic Spray (lichen-based), Organic Digest+, and Raw Cacao. GOL also offers green powders, protein powders, probiotics, and more.
- Gaia Herbs Golden Milk, a powdered whole-rhizone turmeric with black pepper fruit and other herbs. The Gaia herbs I haven’t tried include echinacea, olive leaf, maca root, and more. And herbal formulas for different ailments. You’ll find many of them here.
I spotted other brands at Thrive, too, that I’ve used in the past. These include New Chapter, Health Force, Source Naturals, Now, A. Vogul, Country Life, Nature’s Way, and Rainbow Light. Please note: These brands carry at least some vegan or organic products, but do check the labels to be sure.
By the way, I never bothered taking supplements until I came down with chronic pain. Read how I escaped chronic pain without drugs or surgery! Spoiler alert— what’s made a lasting difference is natural and organic foods, and anti-inflammatory herbs like turmeric and ginger. Everything you’ll find at Thrive.
